Thank you to Huyen MacMichael

We want to share news regarding a transition in our Visual Arts program. Huyen MacMichael will be stepping down after eight years of dedicated service. While we will miss Huyen, we remain committed to continuing her work with the same care and creativity she brought to our artists and community. Her dedication to teaching artists with disabilities is reflected in her students’ engagement and the quality of their work. Huyen has made important contributions to Arts for All Loudoun and the Loudoun arts community. We thank her for her years of service and wish her the best in all future endeavors.
To ensure stability, a new administrator, Rebecca Anderson, will lead the Visual Arts program. She holds a master’s degree in special education, has experience teaching in Loudoun County Schools, and has been personally involved in Arts for All Loudoun as a volunteer. She is also the niece of a long-time program participant, bringing both professional expertise and personal insight to her role.
We are grateful for your ongoing support of Arts for All Loudoun’s mission: to provide exceptional opportunities in Loudoun County for artists and performers with disabilities to participate in a creative and inclusive community. Together, we look forward to continuing to nurture talent, creativity, and connection.

The Visual Arts Program, formerly known as the DaVinci Art Program, is a division of Arts for All Loudoun and provides opportunities for artists of all abilities to enjoy the multiple benefits of creating artwork.

About the program: At the heart of the Arts For All Loudoun Visual Arts program is a journey, much like the act of art creation itself. Here, we cherish the act of creating and the sharing that comes from our social environment. While our artists often grace us with exceptional pieces, the true beauty lies in its authenticity. Every creation tells a story, and is as unique as the artist behind it. While our focus is on providing a safe and creative space for artists with disabilities, all are welcome (ages 16+).
The Visual Arts program offers two ways for artists to participate, the Open Art Studio and the Art Group.
